The society shall carry the name "
Blacksea Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical
Microbiology" BSCMID (Turkish abbreviation KIMID). The
registered office of the society shall be located in
Samsun, Turkey.
BSCMID/KIMID’s
Mission:
BSCMID
is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve
the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious
diseases by promoting and supporting research, education
and training in infectious diseases disciplines. The
society aims to achieve this by scientific exchange,
educational programs, grants and awards, certification
and consultation with professional and government
agencies. Through its activities and publications
BSCMID
promotes professional exchange and stimulates an open
and collaborative spirit nourished by the diversity of
Turkish, European and Central Asian cultures.
